RAFAEL SUEIRO

Rafael Sueiro serves as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and is a member of the Executive Committee for Radisson Hotel Group.

He was previously Senior Vice President Group Controlling, Planning, and Business Intelligence at Radisson Hotel Group. Sueiro is responsible for the budgeting and forecasting processes, accounting functions, internal audit, treasury, investments, forward-looking analytics, reporting, and business intelligence. He is an experienced finance and strategy leader with more than 25 years of experience covering investment, planning and controlling, accounting, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, and business intelligence activities mainly in the travel and telecom industry, working in truly multinational and multicultural environments with geographically dispersed teams.

Prior to joining Radisson Hotel Group, Sueiro was the Global CFO for the Meeting & Events division of CWT (Carlson Wagonlit Travel), where he previously worked as CFO and later CEO of the Spanish branch. Sueiro was also previously Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, Control, and Business Intelligence at Vodafone Spain and worked more than 8 years at Deloitte as a corporate strategy consultant and an auditor.

Sueiro is a Spanish national and is fluent in Spanish and English. He holds an Executive MBA and has completed an Advance Management Program from ESADE Business School. He is a member of the ESADE Alumni Finance Board and a lecturer at CEU Educational Group.
