Radisson Hotel Group automatically compensates the carbon footprint of every single meeting and event space at all our hotels in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, at no cost to you.

In partnership with First Climate, one of the world’s largest carbon compensation organizations, and through projects that help reduce emissions and have a positive social impact, Radisson Meetings strives for environmental best practice. 

Additionally to the automated carbon compensation of the event, through our partners at First Climate, we offer our clients the option to also compensate the carbon footprint of their booked group accommodation. All selected projects are Gold Standard or Verified Carbon Standard certified.

Our promise

A hotel’s carbon footprint is calculated based on the leading hospitality industry tool, the Hotel Carbon Measurement Initiative (HCMI). Developed to measure and analyze the carbon footprint of hotel stays and meetings in a consistent and transparent way, the HCMI framework enables us to calculate the carbon emissions allocated to a meeting space to compensate them accordingly.
