I had a 15 hour layover in Reykjavik so decided to get a hotel room. The hotel was clean. The young man at the front desk when I checked in at 8 PM was very pleasant. I joined the rewards program and received a bottle of water and a room upgrade. Both appreciated as I am at the end of a long trip. I loved the size and style of the room - sleek and modern. I do wish there was a shuttle as I had to spend USD 33 each way on a taxi, which is pricey for a 5-6 minute ride. It was easy to get a taxi and the drivers were pleasant.
Great hotel, great location, friendly staff and overall experience was very good! Breakfast was good, rooms are clean and quiet. Convenient location to go around the neighborhood and just few minutes from the sea. Recommended for short and longer stays.
Very welcoming staff and a great room. Had some trouble with extra charges being applied which required contact with hotel which were later refunded. But upon arrival as an apology we were upgraded to the more luxury room on 4th floor which was highly appreciated. If you are coming from the airport or even staying to visit to Reykjavík it is worth considering. Free parking downstairs as well if you coming by car.
From check-in to check-out, our stay was exceptional. The room itself was comfortable, clean and well furnished. It was the staff that made the difference. We were made to feel welcome, and the staff was open and friendly, happy to advise us. Plus, the library was made for bibliophiles.
Missed my connecting flight in Keflavik and had to spend a night at the Park Inn. Many people in stressful situation and the staff were calming, efficient and professional. Bedrooms were clean and had everything required for a nights stay. A special recommendation must go out to their restaurant The Library, staff were professional and friendly. The food was excellent. Also the breakfast is not to be missed, one of the best buffets I have had.
