Central waterfront location - easy walking distance from most city centre attractions and train station.
Beware of the safe. We could not get our stuff out, but maintenance sorted it. Could do with more than i cup of tea and coffee each. Lighting poor
The bedding, quilt, sheets and pillows were super soft. Id go as far as to say sumptuous! I was delighted when I slipped between the sheets and wished Id come to bed earlier! Very pleasantly surprised.
We have just got home after a fabulous weekend staying here...the place is spotless; bang smack in the middle of everything...and the staff were fantastic; so helpful (we came the weekend of the marathon and didnt realise our bus wouldmt be able to pull in because of road closure) Would thoroughly recommend to anyone!
Great location on busy Broad Quay and the harbour attractions. Tesco Express & Sainsburys Local both on the doorstep. All sorts of restaurants & bars plus coffee shops too. Around a 15 minute flat walk from Temple Meads railway station, with the option of door to door service buses. The Airport Flyer bus also serves the stops outside the hotel. My 12th floor corner room had dual aspect windows and a fabulous view I couldn't stop looking at. The mainly female staff were smartly presented and professional yet friendly. My room was spacious and bright, with air con capable which worked well at both ends of the temperature spectrum. Apart from a few touched up bits on the ceiling, I found none of the issues referred to in other reviews. My only gripe is the "eye catching" bed vallance! I stayed for 3 nights at a Bank Holiday weekend and only on my final morning did I find the breakfast experience poor. The hotel was very busy with corporate guests, making it difficult to find an empty table/one which had been reset from previous guests. The hot options were also running out.
