How to get to the Radisson Blu Hotel, Durham

From Durham Tees Valley International Airport
By public transport:

There are several options for transportation to the hotel, including:

  • Walk to the nearby Middleton St George Hospital stop and board bus number 12. Get off at the Dinsdale stop, walk to the Dinsdale train station, and take the Northern line to the Durham station just 800 meters from the hotel.
  • Head to the Middleton Hall stop and board bus number 12. Get off at the Darlington stop, walk to the Darlington train station, and take the Transpennine Express line to the Durham station.
By car:
When traveling by car, it's just under 40km from the airport to the hotel. Take Junction 62 off the A1(M), and follow the signs to Durham city centre along the A690. After crossing the River Wear, stay in the left-hand lane and turn left at the traffic lights. Take the first immediate left to Framwellgate Waterside. The hotel is on the left.
From Newcastle International Airport
By train:
Take the GRN line to Newcastle's Central Station, then switch to the Transpennine, LNER, or CrossCountry lines and get off at Durham Station. The hotel is only an 800-meter walk from here.
By car:
