From Velana International Airport (MLE)
By Seaplane Transfer:
Upon arrival at Velana International Airport (MLE), our dedicated airport representatives will warmly welcome you and assist with check-in for your seaplane transfer. You will then be escorted to the seaplane terminal, where you can relax in the shared VIP lounge, offering complimentary refreshments, Wi-Fi, and shower facilities.
Please note that the typical waiting time for seaplane transfers is approximately 2 hours from check-in and may vary depending on international flight schedules and weather conditions.

Guests are required to share their international flight details at least 5 days prior to arrival to ensure timely arrangements. Seaplane schedules are operated by a third party and are finalized one day prior to travel, subject to weather conditions and international flight timings.

A 30-day tourist visa is automatically granted for all nationalities if they meet the following entry requirements: 1. Possess a confirmed reservation at a registered tourist facility 2. A complete travel itinerary including confirmed return journey tickets 3. Entry requirements to their onward destinations, for example, visa and passport validity 4. The Traveller Declaration form must be filled in and submitted by all travelers during arrival and departure to and from the Maldives, within 96 hours of the flight time. The form has to be submitted electronically via the link given below. 5. Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate, if applicable. Once you have arrived and cleared all Immigration formalities, taken your luggage, and cleared Maldives Customs, you will have to make your way out of the arrival terminal. A Radisson Blu Resort, Maldives representative will be waiting outside holding a resort plaque so that you can identify them. Our airport representative will escort you to the Trans Maldivian Airways counter for your check-in and then escort you to the seaplane lounge to await your transfer to the resort. They remain on hand should any issue arise and will keep you informed should there be any changes to the flight schedule.
Explosives, weapons, firearms, ammunition, pornographic material, materials deemed contrary to Islam including ‘idols for worship’ and bibles, pork and pork products, and alcohol are not permitted in the Maldives. Alcoholic beverages are only available for consumption on registered resort islands. It is strictly prohibited to transport alcohol out of a resort island via seaplanes, domestic flights, or speedboats. Additionally, strict penalties apply to those attempting to bring illegal drugs into the country. Upon your arrival to the Maldives, if liquids are detected in your luggage, Maldives Customs officials will require you to open your bags. Should there be alcohol in your luggage, this will be confiscated and returned to you when you are departing the Maldives. The export of tortoise shell and coral is strictly forbidden.

Radisson Blu Resort Maldives has private pools in all villas as well as open-air bathrooms in certain villa categories. Out of respect for all our guests, the resort has a strict drone policy. Any guest wishing to fly a drone needs to inform Radisson Blu Resort, Maldives in advance so that guests can be informed.
