"A very good stay."

Stayed at the Radisson due to its excellent location in the city centre of York, have stayed before a couple of times with work and have always found it to be a good stay. Had booked two rooms this time as was taking my mother on a much needed break away from her caring duties. We were not disappointed, rooms were ready when we arrived, had requested interconnecting and this was given, rooms are comfortable and well furnished and a comfy bed with a powerful shower is all you need. We were out most of the day so didn't take breakfast at the hotel but I chose to eat at the restaurant and found it to be excellent and decent value considering the location. The highlight for me Adam at the Hotel bar, handsome, professional and simply excellent at what he does, a natural at hospitality who I can say after spending 10 managing a hotel, I would be proud to have on the staff, he was laid back, chatty and made an effort to spend time with each of the guests while doing his rounds. Working with the railway I have recommended this hotel to colleagues who would find it ideal being so close to the station and will look forward to checking in again tomorrow.

I can highly recommend the Radisson York. Friendly staff very clean excellent facilities. Room small but adequate very clean well equipped lines very comfortable. Breakfast had lots of choice. We dined at the hotel and could not fault the food and service. The hotel is close to the centre but in a quiet street so no noise. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again

The hotel is perfectly located in the city centre, easy walking distance from train station and also city centre. It had everything I needed with modern facilities, nice breakfast and great conference facilities. I loved the river view, and all staff members were super helpful.

Excellent location, parking available, friendly and welcoming staff. The downside was that the pillows and duvets in all 3 rooms my family stayed in were lumpy.

Had a weekend stay Room was excellent, very clean well presented. Had view of the river Food very good, great breakfast selection. Staff on deception could not have been more helpful. Well located for all amenities. Will definitely stay again
