Highly recomended! Great hotel and the staff. BE CAREFULL WITH THE TAXI SCAMMERS IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL. We booked a taxi on reception with the regullar price, but our friends took the taxi in front of the hotel and thay payed 164 euro from the hotel to the airport. We was pay 55 euro for private transfer with Mercedes. Reception staff offered us un economy optyon which is cheaper, but we choose premium one. Our premium was 3 times cheaper than a taxi scam.
We have just returned from 5 days at this hotel and it was a 5* experience from check in to check out and everything in between. All the staff were very friendly and professional, a particular shout out to Tommy in the bar, who looked after us so well. The rooftop bar was superb, with great service and amazing views across the city. The restaurant was fantastic, especially the Pan Asian evening menu, such delicious food. The bedroom was immaculate (as was all the hotel), great bathroom, electric curtains!, very comfortable bed and quality coffee machine in the room. The hotel location is possibly the best you could ask for, it’s central to the squares, bars, restaurants, trams and cathedral, all minutes walk away. The hotel is ultra modern and very tastefully decorated, the spa is great, includes a gym, small pool, steam room and sauna. All in all the hotel helped our fantastic experience in Zagreb, along with the incredible 31° weather!
Deserves top mark across the board. Friendly staff, stylish and characterful decor, very well equipped rooms and excellent spa with a decent size pool. Very good breakfast. Central location. I would strongly recommend. Not much else to add!
We were so happy with this hotel....from beginning to the end (we were here 6 nights) upon arrival, Luka Z. made us feel so welcome....he was a constant source of information and generally the kind of person every hotel should have at their reception desk!!! A shout out to Jura too! But kudos to the management because everyone working here couldn't have been nicer or more professional....even though they were working over Christmas. Now to the hotel...lobby was lovely, rooms comfortable and well outfitted....(it was a small learning curve with the in room coffee maker) rooms were quiet, we had breakfast only once during our stay, it was lovely...but we wanted to experience other breakfast spots in Zagreb. The location was perfect for exploring all of Zagreb...easy walk to train station and Christmas markets. Unfortunately the roof top was not open for us, but since we were there in December it probably wasn't a necessity. We also didn't use the spa since we were so busy sightseeing....this hotel was the best choice for our visit to Zagreb and I fully recommend it!
We recently stayed at art’otel Zagreb for an extended weekend and were very pleased with the overall experience. The hotel is housed in a beautifully renovated historic building, combining modern design with its architectural heritage. Its central location is ideal, with all of Zagreb’s major sights just a short walk away. Our room on the third floor was modern and thoughtfully designed. It featured a high-quality Illy coffee maker, which added a nice touch—although we must admit we struggled a bit to figure it out at first (entirely a user issue..). After a few attempts, we managed to brew a cup. The room also had air conditioning, but we appreciated that the windows could be opened as well. The windows were soundproof, so despite being in a central location, the room was pleasantly quiet. The lack of a minibar wasn’t an issue for us, as the service areas on each floor offered packaged food and drinks for purchase. The toiletries and bathrobe provided were of high quality, adding to the comfort of our stay. Breakfast was well-executed, with a diverse buffet complemented by a menu of freshly prepared egg dishes, juices, and smoothies. One of the highlights was the basement restaurant and bar, YEZI, which we highly recommend. Its Asian-inspired dishes, amazing pastry and creative cocktails offered a great dining experience. While we found the service professional and efficient, it was a bit on the reserved side, which might feel less personal to some guests. Though we didn’t use the spa or gym facilities, it’s worth mentioning that they are available for guests. Overall, art’otel Zagreb is a stylish, modern, and well-located hotel that offers comfort and convenience for travelers looking to explore the city.
