If possible get a room Not on the back side of the hotel as that is a busier street than the street in front of hotel.(mtn1moma)

Beware of the city tax. Give Utrecht a go. Locally, De Pizzabakkers for pizza and Frietboutique for ice cream are well worth a go!(thepeelers)

"Really nice hotel in upmarket area"

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst attending a conference at the RAI in Amsterdam. It’s quite an up market part of town (judging by the cars and the price of Aperol Spritz!). The room was very nice,not massive but more than enough of you are on your own-a couple might struggle if you were there for a long time or wanted to spend a lot of time in the actual room. It’s not a massive hotel either, quite intimate. It’s about a 30 minute walk from the centre and a 40 minute walk to RAI-the bus from the airport (every 10 mins) drops you off about a 10 minute gentle walk to the hotel. I didn’t have breakfast but my two colleagues did-and said it was great. Nice touches are the coffee machine and crystal whisky glasses in the room! Park across the road and a much bigger one about 5 minutes away. Only word of warning are the Dutch cyclists-they are lethal and everywhere-like Scottish midges, they take no prisoners. Would definitely go back here.

We were very pleased with the family. The hotel staff was very polite and helpful in every way. The room was very comfortable and clean. The food and breakfast were also great. They pay great attention to room cleaning. The hotel is in a central location and tram access is very easy.

"Beautiful hotel in a peaceful Amsterdam location"

My husband and I stayed at the Park Plaza Vondelpark for a two night stay in Amsterdam and were so pleased with the hotel and location! Our room was beautiful - comfortable bed, fridge and coffee maker, spotless bathroom, great water pressure in the shower. The location was perfect for us! We wanted to be able to explore Amsterdam but stay in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood -- this was the best of both worlds. It is a one block walk to the Cornelis Schuytstraat tram stop, which we used to get everywhere in Amsterdam within minutes (the Van Gogh museum was only one tram stop away and also easily walkable), and nearby there were several great restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. The park is peaceful and beautiful, great for a stroll around the little lakes with a coffee. We will absolutely stay here again when visiting Amsterdam.

"Great hotel for a holiday"

Perfect hotel for a short break. Friendly staff, comfortable room, lovely and convenient location. We breakfasted every day in the hotel which is unusual for us - there was an extensive variety of excellent quality and food with many healthy options.

Another great stay at Park Plaza. This is our second stay here and it didn’t disappoint. It is quiet, clean, and located in an ideal setting beside the park. We used the tram, less than 5 min minute walk, to get to and from Central Station. Great restaurants and bakery located very close.
