We stayed at Park Plaza Histria in September. We found the staff extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Our room was fantastic. A beautiful sea view and balcony. We used the local buses to travel everywhere and they were really good value, clean and always on schedule. The hotel has excellent facilities for everyone. I used the indoor pool every morning before breakfast and I was the only person in it. There was a conference and a wedding reception happening whilst we were there. Neither had any negative impact on our experience of the hotel, bar areas or dining. The food in the hotel was fabulous. Breakfast and dinner. Every night we had multiple choices of salads main courses and sweets. Each night was different and so tasty. It was first class food every morning and night. They catered for food intolerances, vegetarian and vegan. If you want chips with everything then go somewhere else. We had a lovely lady come to our room every evening and she offered extra pillows, towels, tea and coffee. She was really pleasant and helpful. We read quite a few negative reviews about this hotel before we booked. We are really pleased we ignored them. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would return.

Sandro, at the front desk, was superb and made check in very smooth after a long drive from Venice. His restaurant recommendation was outstanding- Konica Boccaporta! The view from the room was post card perfect and the breakfast was a cornucopia of culinary delights!

The Park Plaza is located on a beautiful peninsula and we loved the spacious hotel and our luxurious sea view room with a balcony. It was well equipped and very comfortable. The food on offer for breakfast and dinner was outstanding. The outside patio area and the indoor/outdoor pools were a pleasure to use. We also visited the Wellness Centre and emerged feeling refreshed and relaxed. It’s a short bus ride to the historic heart of Pula and the stunning Roman Amphitheatre. The GM Mr. Sirola and all his staff did all they could to make our 5 nights stay comfortable and enjoyable.

This hotel is excellent in every respect. Entrance foyer is huge and nicely decorated , the pool area and gardens are very well maintained and kept tidy. We had a sea view room which was large and airy with very good air conditioning control. The room was cleaned daily and the bed linen was changed once during our 1 week stay. There are excellent public bus links into Pula and the bus station where you can easily make a connection to visit Rovinj. We had no problems with loungers around the pool area (possibly because the guest profile was older, as the kids are all back at school) towels where issued and room number recorded, there are also lots of loungers in the garden areas surrounding the hotel building. The pool itself is great ,cool and refreshing on a boiling hot day. What can I say about the restaurant, I do not usually stay half board in hotels. The breakfast is first class with plenty of variety very well presented , there is an egg station where the omelettes are fantastic, they cater for every dietary requirement. The choice at dinner is amazing and not at all repetitive the quality is excellent we even had sushi and scallops on various evenings they will cook a stir fry to order. The staff are what help to make this hotel a success, they are friendly and efficient and nothing is too much trouble for them. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel , stay half board and get a room with a view, you will not regret it, can’t wait to return.

Nice hotel, nice and big, the beach is nice, it could be a little more organized, many opportunities for cycling and hiking, clean water, close to the city and historical sites, good food, nice shaddow all over the peninsula, there should be more restaurants at beach nearby
