"Excellent hotel, would stay again"

Kelly on reception was wonderful from start to finish, and all the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained, well located for all the amenities. The food is excellent, but there are several other options nearby for variety. We did have some issues with noisy children in the corridor, but didn’t contact reception at the time. Im confident they would have dealt with it immediately if i had, and they were very apologetic when i told them the next morning. As a wheelchair user, i was well catered for and had no issues during my stay.

Lovely hotel, very clean, great service and great food. Samantha was particularly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our group had everything we needed. The only down side was there was a fair amount of noise at night from outside and other rooms. Overall very happy with our stay, and would stay again.

I was with my wife, my brother and sister-in law. We had never stayed at this hotel or experienced a match package with rooms that overlooked the football pitch. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Adam and Alison greeted us at reception. We had a couple of queries that were happily resolved by the team. A special shout out for Kelly, Joan and Vicky who were extremely helpful. The rooms are really nice and the view is excellent. We were taken aback by the complimentary gifts. A couple of bottles of chilled beer and my wife loved the Bolton Wanderers teddy. We paid for a drinks package that was ready in our room. Tea/coffee/biscuits and hair drier (a must for the wife). Climate controlled room. We paid for match tickets that are included in the match package. A little disappointed the restaurant (Reflections) wasn't open as it has pitch views but the bar staff were friendly and accommodating and we managed to reserve a table. For bar meals, there wasn't a great selection but the steak was very good and the pizzas excellent. The drink prices were as you expect for a hotel but a good selection. With our package we also got 10% off all drinks and food. Early check in and late check out were also included in the package. There is free parking too. Fantastic value and made to feel welcome. Got to say we were pleasantly surprised and would love to do this experience again.

Friendly greeting on reception, loads of free car parking, room very clean and comfortable and food great. Janet had cleaned my room prior to arrival and it’s immaculate. The room has recently been refurbished and is much more appealing and modern than the old rooms

Fantastic from start to finish. Before arrival the reception staff made sure our requests were taken care of. The rooms on the top floor are huge, great bathroom and a lounge area that is big enough for a pull out bed. Breakfast was terrific too, a big shout out to Margaret who went above and beyond to take care of our large group on Saturday and was there again to welcome us on the Sunday morning. The staff were kind and welcoming, the bar area was a great place to have a good catch up and lots of eating options within a 5 min walk. And Wanderers won! A wonderful weekend we won’t forget.
